Just a reminder that Microsoft has launched a toll free voice recognition information service called Tell Me. With Tell Me, just say it and get it.
From any phone within the United States, dial (800) 555-TELL [(800) 555-8355] or (888) TELLME0 [(888) 835-5630]
Search for any business in the United States, by business name or type of business, such as “Starbucks” or “Coffee”. Hear your results and say “Text Me the Info” to get a text message sent to you with the address, phone number and a map.
Just say “Movies” and choose by movie name, theater, or ask for “New Releases.”
Can’t watch the game? Track the score on Tell Me Sports. Scores are updated every few minutes.
You can also hear current conditions and forecasts from Tell Me Weather. Save your favorite cities by saying “Add to My Favorites” during a forecast, and jump right to them next time you call by saying “Tell me My Favorites”.
Call Tell Me and say “News Center” to hear today’s top stories and stay up to date on business, technology, entertainment and sports headlines.
You can even hear the winning numbers for any state just by saying “Lottery.”
