Hello Everyone,

Do you leave your home before the break of dawn?  Can’t tell if it’s going to rain today?  Are you tired of having those horribly hellish nightmarish dreams of being caught in a torrential downpour that threatens the safety and security of your cell phone, new shoes, Netbook PC, breakfast burrito, newspaper, briefcase, hairdo, and your ever tenuous emotional stability?  Read the rest of this entry »

Hello Everyone.

Yes, you read it right, Boys and Girls; like a virgin, for the very first time, I’m keeping an accurate record of all my expenses.

What?  Did you think I meant something else?  Naughty, naughty!

OK, OK!  I had to write something to get your attention, didn’t I?  (Smile)

The following free resource is something that I strongly suggest you begin using immediately as it will surely change your life.

Enjoy,

Hello Everyone,

I don’t know about you but it seems that the older I get the more susceptible I am to stress.  I remember a time when, as a young man, I felt as though I had all the time in the world.  Now it feels as though I am the last man to finish in a one-man race; and the clock is ticking.  (Smile)

I remember a time when almost nothing stressed me out but now-a-days, if feels as though everything gets to me, like the following:

Waiting for my W2s to arrive safely in the mail.
Hoping that my tax return does not trigger an IRS audit.
Hoping that a little patch of dry skin on my knee is not the beginnings of some slow-moving flesh-eating disease from Hell.  Read the rest of this entry »

Hello Everyone,

With the amazing decline in house prices throughout the USA, now is the perfect time to search for that dream house you’ve always wanted—you know, the one surrounded by a high voltage electric fence, a shark infested moat,  rooftop snipers, and is located right next to the “Bunny Hutch?  (Oh, wait!  Never mind, that’s my dream house.)  (Smile)   Read the rest of this entry »

Hello Everyone,

It seems that at least twice a year I find myself praying for death as I battle one of the oldest and most formidable foes to, if not mankind, then most certainly Mark-kind.  The following article found on Everyday Health may give you a fighting chance the next time this enemy of old comes knocking at your proverbial door.

Enjoy,

Mark

Mom and Pop,

I know we have all had our differences over the years, but I am confident that we have moved passed that now.

There comes a time in one’s life when one has to realize what’s actually important, and our relationship is just that to me.

I wish there was more that I could give you, but hope that my love and reassurance will quiet the doubts that either of you may have.

Merry Christmas and may we all share a Happy New Year.

Love Always.

Hello Everyone,

Although I do not have any children of my own, I thought the following article, by PC Magazine’s Jamie Lendino, is something that everyone should read, parent or not.  After all, we must protect the children for our future depends upon them.

You will find a link to the original article at the bottom of this post.

Hello Everyone,

I hope you like this approximately 40 minute episode of the 1970’s CBS Radio Mystery Theater program.

I want you to consider this episode of the CBS Radio Mystery Theater entitled “The Sending”, published here as a Candle Shore podcast, as a personal Christmas gift from me to you.

While this particular episode will scare the “love” out of you, I think you will agree that it will also surely make you count your blessings; and, after all, isn’t that what Christmas is all about?  (Smile)

Listen to this episode either on your computer, MP3 player or, as I do, on your mobile phone and always remember.

Enjoy,

Mark

Episode:  The Sending

Hello Kids from 1 to 92,

Well, just a few more hours and the world’s best known holiday will be upon us.

Christmas!  You know, there is something about that word that moves me.  I know that there are many today who do not celebrate or even acknowledge Christmas but, no matter, like the wind itself, Christmas touches us all whether we see it or not.

As I write this, I am overwhelmed by a heart wrenching sense of homesickness for…  Well, that is the question for all of us, respectively, is it not?  Read the rest of this entry »
