Hello Fellow Californians.

As we all know, California is in the midst of a financial meltdown.  Be that as it may, as of January 1, 2009, over 700 new laws took effect for the golden state, which I call home. 

Earlier today I tried to find a comprehensive list of these new laws only to discover that, apparently, my grasp exceeded my reach.  That is, all I could find were either partial lists, ripe with commentary, or articles featuring only the most publicized statutes.  While I do enjoy reading editorial comments, from time-to-time, I prefer to make up my own mind after reviewing original material; in this case, signed legislative bills.  Read the rest of this entry »

OK!  OK!  I promise, this will be my last post on how to have lottery results sent directly to your mobile phone.  (Sly Grin)

I am posting, what is now the third article discussing US lottery results, not because I am a high-rolling habitual gambler, a laughable lifelong lottery freak, a nunchucked nitwitted numbers cruncher, or a spiritual shadow-seeking SMS Sherpa but because up until now, the free lottery resources I discussed previously, required one to request the winning numbers rather than having them sent automatically to a mobile phone or wireless device.   Read the rest of this entry »
