Hello My Fellow Office 2007 Onlookers, 

Well, I finally installed MS Office 2007 Enterprise on my sapphire-blue Acer Aspire One Netbook PC. 

Being deathly afraid of change, I have resisted letting go of my beloved 2003 version of Office. 

However, just like time, Microsoft Office waits for no one. 

As I launched MS Word 2007 (with Service Pack 2), I realized that I had forgotten the biggest change in this latest version of Office; you guessed it, the new Ribbon interface.  After taking careful readings of my blood-pressure, temperature, and pulse rate to confirm that I was still among the living, I quickly hurried to my private label bookcase where I retrieved documentation, in Braille, on how to use the Office 2007 Ribbon.  Then, before settling in to study, I downloaded Freedom Scientific’s JAWS Office 2007 DAISY book training material.

Suffice me to say that, as of this date, I am an Microsoft Office 2007 onlooker, no longer.  (Smile).

“Ah,” thought I, “What about my loyal BLOG subscribers who are not fortunate enough to be blind or low-vision?  Since they are sighted, they will not have access to all of the free and wonderfully comprehensive audio, DAISY, or Braille formatted documentation available to us, the chosen people (Big Smile).  I must not forget about them.”
