Recently, I’ve had the need to make extensive use of Voice Memos I record on my iPhone 3GS.

QUESTION:
During my latest recording of a Mobile Geo podcast, I was forced to restart the phone while Geo was speaking.  In effect, the system was frozen. 

Upon restarting the phone, to my dismay, I discovered that the Start Menu shortcut keys had been disabled.  That is, before the Geo lock-up, from the Start Menu, I could simply tap the letter M for Mobile Geo or O for Mobile Speak or F for File Explorer or W for Windows Media player.  In fact, upon pressing the Start Menu, Mobile Speak would read the Hotkey available.  For example, it would say, “Mobile Geo, M”.  Read the rest of this entry »
