Hello Everyone,

Do the following in order to add what is essentially a Speed Dial telephone number to your iPhone 3GS Home Screen: 

NOTE 1:
I have only confirmed this method for dialing telephone numbers from and within the United States. 

NOTE 2:
Please make sure you have an unlimited data plan in place with your wireless provider before proceeding.

1.
From the iPhone 3GS, launch Safari. 

2.
In the address field enter a 10-digit telephone number followed by .tel.qlnk.net.  For example:  8005551212.tel.qlnk.net

3.
Tap the Go button on the virtual keyboard.  After a few moments, you will be prompted to either make the call or cancel the request. 

4.
Tap the Cancel button. 

5.
While still in Safari, open the Utilities Menu by tapping the + button located at the bottom of the display screen. 

6.
Select Add to Home Screen.  And follow the prompts. 

That’s  all there is to it.
