Hello Everyone,

Here is a nifty little tip regarding Safari Tabbed Browsing on iPhone 3GS:

Just as in Desktop web browsers such as Internet Explorer and Fire Fox, when in iPhone 3GS Safari, you can have up to 8 web pages open at once, each in a different Tab.

1.
On your iPhone 3GS, launch Safari and browse to a web page.

2.
Tap the Tab button located in the lower right corner of the Display Screen.  This will reduce the size of the currently displayed site in preparation for opening a subsequent site.

3.
Tap the New Page button located in the lower left corner of the Display Screen.  A blank, untitled page will be displayed.

4.
Surf to any website.  Please note that the current number of open websites will appear on the Tab button.

5.
To switch between Tabs (currently opened sites), select the box icon in the lower right corner and then scroll through your web pages by dragging your finger to the left or to the right.

NOTE 1:
VoiceOver users, select the Tab button and then use the 3-finger horizontal swipe gesture to scroll between Tabs.

6.
To view any of the web pages fullscreen, simply select it..

7.
To close a Tab, tap the X (Announced as the Close Button to VoiceOver users) located in the upper left corner of the Display Screen.

Enjoy,

Mark
