Hello Everyone,

I recently installed Microsoft Office 2010.  I think it one of the most amazing suite of applications I’ve ever used.

I don’t know about you but one thing I like in all my applications is feedback with sound.  You know, when an email arrives in Outlook, for example, a chime will play.

Just as in previous versions of Office, however, the “Provide Feedback With Sound” option is not automatically enabled.

To enable this extremely useful feature you must (1) download the Sounds Ad-On and (2) from within MS Word or Outlook place a Checkmark in the appropriate Item in the Options area.

For the record, the same Sound Ad-On for Office 2010 is the exact same program that is used in both Office 2007 and 2003.

For your convenience, you may Click Here to download the Zip file containing the Sounds Ad-On.

After downloading, unzip the file and simply run the program.  Assuming that you have enabled the “Provide Sound With Feedback” feature, as described above, simply reboot your computer and you’re ready to go.

Enjoy,

Mark
