Hello Everyone, 

Recently, I was involved in an automobile accident involving three vehicles.  Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.  After we all determined that no life-threatening damaged was suffered, the driver and passenger of one of the cars involved had no idea how to proceed.

WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT?

In the event you are involved in an auto collision, first take a deep breath and carefully survey the scene around you. Evaluate your condition; are you injured? Can you safely exit your car? Collect your thoughts before you act, and keep tensions under control. Make sure you turn the engine off and turn off any accessories (like headlights) that are not necessary. Most importantly, be polite and do not accuse anyone of causing the accident. Keeping a cool head and carefully exchanging information will allow you to meet your legal obligations while preserving your legal rights and options.
