Hello Everyone,

Here is a little trinket I found on the web for your consideration called Mobile Taxicab Finder.

This mobile website reports that it provides a list of local taxicab services based on the metro area selected.

The following is an excerpt from their site: Read the rest of this entry »

Hello Everyone,

I hope you like this approximately 30 minute episode of the Beyond Midnight radio drama.

This episode, entitled “The Room” is complete with the original broadcast commercials.

I decided to publish this episode as a Candle Shore podcast because I know that as you listen to it, you will find yourself falling into your inner consciousness.

Listen to this episode either on your computer, MP3 player or, as I do, on your mobile phone and always remember.

Enjoy,

Episode:  The Room

Question:
SO I’ve read over all the steps and instructions for the upgrade to 6.1 and feel comfortable with things so I think i can handle going through the process. But I’m not sure what exactly i need to download if I were to go to the download link which is shown on the Samson site page with the instructions. It said to click the link and then click the file set-up.exe i believe that’s supposed to be on the page which I was rerouted to. But I’m not seeing anything. I see a few files but I’m not sure if I need to download all of them or only one of them, and if i need only one, which one to get?

 Answer:
You only need to download the files that are for the operating system installed on your computer.  See the following three links which will take you to where you need to go.  Read the rest of this entry »

Hello Everyone,

In an effort to make the documentation for Code Factory’s GPS software solution, Mobile Geo, a little more manageable, I have adapted and reformatted the Mobile Geo user manual in a way that I hope you will find easier to use; for example, I have removed all of the tables.

You may download the Mobile Geo list of commands in MS Word, plain text, HTML, or US Braille format.

Enjoy,

Question:
Why do you say to buy from an AT&T Wireless corporate store and not an authorized reseller like Best Buy?

Answer:
The answer to this question is much too nebulous to distill down into a few sentences.  Suffice me to say that, where a novice customer is concerned, it is sound advice, to be sure.

Question:
I’m glad you kept telling me to read the directions.  I do web design, and know how computers can be a pain.  I also know how to take the cim card out, but will i get a cim card if i buy the phone with out a contract?  Read the rest of this entry »

Hello Everyone,

Here is a quick reminder about an often overlooked and sometimes troublesome keyboard feature of the Samsung Blackjack II Smartphone running either Windows Mobile 6.0 or 6.1 that may be of a particular interest to the visually impaired who, like me, understand that silence is not always golden.  Read the rest of this entry »

Hello Everyone,

I am so happy for those of you preparing to purchase your first mobile Smartphone.

As far as I am concerned, there are few things more thrilling than buying a new mobile phone, except of course getting ready to eat a pound of crispy bacon.  (Smile)

The following is an answer I posted to a mailing list in response to a request for suggestions on how best to purchase the Samsung Blackjack II Smartphone from AT&T Wireless.

Even though my answer is skewed towards the purchase of a BJ2, it is equally as valid for purchasing any wireless Smartphone, for the first time.  Read the rest of this entry »

Hello Everyone,

Fellow BJ2 owners, did you know that, with the upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1, comes the ability to customize the phone’s navigation (JOG) Wheel?
