Hello Friends,
Just a quick note to let you know that I am finally in Seventh Heaven, well, actually, Seventh Heaven Beta, that is. (Smile)Â
That’s right, I:Â
1.
Purchased an Acer Aspire One Netbook (mini notebook) computer with a 160GB hard disk.  This model is a beautiful Gemstone Blue, by the way.
2.
Wiped the Netbook clean and installed a new copy of Windows 7 Beta.
3.
Installed the Latest release of Jaws for Windows, Professional.
I am happy to report that, thus far, all has gone flawlessly including WiFi compatibility.
I am now using Windows 7 to synchronize with all of my wireless devices.Â
In the coming months, I will write articles on this, the latest product from Microsoft and how it performs with my wireless devices all of which run Code Factory products such as Mobile Speak.Â
NOTE 1:
At the time of this post, Windows 7 Beta is not officially supported by the makers of Jaws, Freedom Scientific.
NOTE 2:
At the time of this post, there is no Windows 7 compatible version of the ZoomText magnifier/screen reader software.
NOTE 3:
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that during the Windows 7 Beta installation process, like Apple’s Voice Over, screen reading via MS Narrator and screen magnification are, by default, turned on. Very, very nice.
Wish Me Luck,
Mark
