Hello My Merry-Making Mavens,
Now that the holiday season is over, a new one will soon begin. As difficult as it is to believe, the only three US holidays I seem to remember are the Fourth of July, Christmas, and, of course, my Birthday. (OK! OK! I may have jumped the gun a bit on that last one.) (Smile)
“Ladies and Gentlemen, get ready to use what will surely be one of your favorite free mobile phone resources of all time, Holidays on the Net.â€

Hello Everyone,
Here is a mobile website that showcases a different cocktail every week.
David Berghouse’s own “Cocktail of the Week†site, which has been available since the early days of the Web (that would be 1995), is still going strong and is now available on your mobile browser.
This week’s cocktail recipe is a Strawberry Daiquiri. David has plenty of other interesting tidbits on various drinks and their background. Go stir it up!

PodCasts | Comments Off on EP: Audio of President George W Bush Final Press Conference, January 12, 2009 | January 13th, 2009
Hello Everyone,Â
Speaking completely as an independent centrist, it is my privilege to publish the final press conference of the 43rd president of the United States of America, Mr. George W. Bush, as an approximately 47 minute Candle Shore podcast.Â
No matter your political philosophy or socioeconomic standing and regardless of how history will tell the tale of his eight-year controversial tenure as our commander in chief, listen to his words and get a rare glimpse into the mind of the man who, for better or worse, carried the weight of the western world on his sometimes daring, other times damning, but always dedicated shoulders.Â
Thank you for your service to our country, President Bush and know that, regardless of the trials and tribulations of our time, I am most proud to be a United States citizen.
Enjoy,
Mark Taylor

Wireless Phones | Comments Off on Where You From, You Foxy News Thing? | January 12th, 2009
Hello Everyone,
To those of you who follow this BLOG regularly, it should be clear, by now, that I am truly a news junky. No matter how positive or how negative the news, I simply love being “in the knowâ€.Â
I prefer to have news pushed to me as opposed to having to go and search for it. Oh, and I want it all for free!!! Think I’m asking too much? Read the rest of this entry »

Health | Comments Off on HEALTH: Is Snoring Dangerous? | January 11th, 2009
Question:Â Why do black widow spiders kill their males after mating?
Answer:Â To stop the snoring before it starts.
Hello Fellow Sleepers,
Without meaning to sound risqué, recently I was in the company of those who, shall we say, “power breathe†when they sleep. That’s right, they snore.Â
During my late-night “power-breathing†listening experience, I remember thinking how painful or harsh the noise sounded to me. Eventually, I began to wonder if snoring, excuse me, “power-breathing†could be considered dangerous to one’s health.
After doing some research on the web, I located the following information that discusses some very common causes and cures for snoring. Oh, one more thing, at the bottom of this post, you will find one more joke; I just couldn’t resist. (Smile)
Please note that I merely copied the following information so if there are any typos, it’s not my fault.Â
Enjoy,
