Hello Fellow Windows 7 Wanderers,
You know, one of the niftiest things about Microsoft Windows XP and Vista was/is (depending on when you read this) the ability to open the All Users Icon view by simply Right-Mouse Clicking the Start Menu.Â
As a low-vision user, I found/find (depending on when you read this) the All Users Icon view particularly useful in managing Windows system resources especially when accessing the PC via screen reading software solutions such as AI Squared’s ZoomText or Freedom Scientific’s JAWS (Job Access with Speech).
Fortunately, Windows 7 users may also open the All Users Icon view by doing the following:
1.
Either Left-Mouse Click on the Windows 7 Start Menu or tap the [WINDOWS] key on your computer keyboard to display the entire Start Menu.
NOTE 1:
On many notebook computers (excluding Macintosh) the [WINDOWS] key is the second key to the left of the Space Bar, located at the bottom of the computer keyboard.
2.
Either Right-Mouse Click on All Programs or use keyboard arrow keys to first select the All Programs list item and then tap the [APPLICATION] key on your computer keyboard to display the All Programs Submenu.
NOTE 2:
On many notebook computers (excluding Macintosh) the [APPLICATION] key is the second key to the right of the Space Bar, located at the bottom of the computer keyboard.
3.
Select Open All Users. The Open All Users Icon view will be displayed.
That’s all there is to it.
Enjoy,
Mark
