Hello Everyone,
Unlike its predecessors, in Windows 7, the built-in Administrator account is not enabled when setting up the operating system.
The built-in Administrator account is an account that has full access and permission on the computer. To enable this hidden account in Windows 7, do the following:Â
NOTE 1:
You must have administrative privileges in order to enable the hidden Administrator account..
NOTE 2:
The following is only one of several methods that can accomplish this task.
NOTE 3:
By default, the built-in administrator account is named “Administrator†and is disabled.
NOTE 4:
When enabled, there is no password set for the Administrator account.
NOTE 5:
If you enable the built-in Administrator account in Windows 7, it is strongly recommended that you create a password in order to keep it secure.

Open the Start menu.

In the Search Box, enter “Local Security Policyâ€, then tap the [Enter] key on the computer keyboard. This will take you to the Local Security Policy editor. In the Local Security Policy editor, you will see two panes, one on the left with tree-view navigation and one on the right which will have the actual definitions and items to edit.

In the left pane of the editor, browse to:Â Local Policies/Security Options.

In the right pane of the editor, select the first item in the list labeled, Administrator. If this is the first time you have selected this item since installing Windows 7 RC, its current status will be set to “Disabledâ€.

Either Right-Mouse Click on this item or simply tap the [Enter] key on your computer to display the item’s Properties Dialog Box.Â

Select the “Enable†Radio Button, then click the “OK†button.
7.
Close the Security Policy Editor.
8.
Restart Windows 7 RC and logon with the Administrator account.
