Hello My Fellow Billie Bound Boutonnieres,
By default, the five buttons located at the bottom of the iPod application found on iPhone 3GS are, from left to right, [Playlists], [Artist], [Songs], [Videos], and [More].
Did you know that you can replace the [Playlists], [Artist], [Songs], or [Videos] browse buttons at the bottom of the screen with buttons you use more frequently?Â
For example, if you often listen to podcasts and don’t watch many videos, you can replace the [Videos] button with the [Podcasts] button.
To change the iPhone 3GS iPod application browse buttons, do the following:Â
1.
From the Home/Springboard, open the iPod application.Â
2.
Tap the [More] button. An Icon grid will appear displaying all of the available iPod application browse buttons.
3.
Tap the [Edit] button located near the top of the Display Screen.
4.
Click and drag a browse button from the Icon grid down over onto the button you wish to replace and then release it.
NOTE 1:
If accessing iPhone 3GS via VoiceOver, a built-in screen reading software solution for the visually impaired, use the VoiceOver Pass-Through hand gesture command to facilitate Drag and Drop.
NOTE 2:
You may also choose to simply rearrange the Icons at the bottom of the screen by dragging and dropping any of them left or right.
5.
When you are satisfied with your modifications, tap the [Done] button located near the top of the Display Screen.
Well, that’s all there is to it. I think it is safe to consider this particular matter, “buttoned up.â€Â (Smile)Â
