With the release of Windows 7, it is no longer necessary to purchase any third-party applications in order to create a bootable disc image of your PC’s setup after you’ve gotten it tweaked just the way you like. 

To create a bootable Windows 7 system repair disc or a bootable image of your current Windows 7 partition:

1.
From the Start Menu, select All Programs.

2.
Select Maintenance.  A Dialogue Box will appear allowing you to select the kind of DVD you wish to create. 

3.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
