THE SKY’S NOT THE LIMIT:  ASTRONOMY FOR THE BLIND AND LOW VISION
Many people have the misapprehension that astronomers study the stars just by looking up. People also used to think that the world was flat, that the universe rotated around the Earth, and that the moon was made of cheese. To many people, the idea of a blind astronomer is impossible. This is not true!  Read The Full Article.

Hello Mark

I am interested in knowing about some of the non-traditional features of Mobile Geo and you are the first person I thought of asking.

I’m an outdoor enthusiast, hiking, running, biking, mountaineering… I am wondering what capabilities Mobile Geo would have for those kind of activities.  Is Mobile Geo capable of creating tracks and allowing me to retrace my steps?  For example, if my wife and I go on a 40 mile bike ride, can Mobile Geo help us retrace our steps to get home?  Also, does Mobile Geo do altitudes, and how accurate is it?  Can MG give your speed and mileage, such as for long runs or bike rides?  Finally, is it possible to load tracks created by other GPS users and have Mobile Geo follow them (such as a bike ride or hike that someone else has done)?

Thanks for any help, and keep up all of the great work with your podcasts and blogs.
