Hello Everyone,
I absolutely adore my Acer Aspire One NetBook running Windows 7 Ultimate. However, the Aspire One TouchPad can interpret a single tap as a mouse-click. So,, if you have large hands or are a sloppy typist, you might find yourself hitting the touchpad accidentally, resulting in unintended mouse-clicks. Simply disable the TouchPad to eliminate this problem.
If you’re using Windows 7, the only way to quickly Disable or Enable the Acer Aspire One TouchPad is to press and hold the Function (Fn) key and tap the F7 key on the NetBook’s keyboard, once. This hardware key combination is a toggle used to either Disable or Enable the TouchPad. The state of this toggle is saved for future Windows 7 sessions; that is, even after shutting down your NetBook, Windows 7 will remember whether the TouchPad was either Enabled or Disabled at the time of ShutDown and remember the setting.
