Hello Everyone, 

Want to have Windows 7 display all of the icons in the notification area all the time?

Unused icons in the notification area are usually hidden. If you prefer to show all of the icons (even those that are not currently in use), follow these steps: 

1.
Right-Click the Start Button

2.
Click Properties.  A Multi-Tab Dialog Box will appear.

3.
Select the Taskbar Tab.

4.
Click the Notification Area Customize Button.  A secondary Dialog Box will appear. 

5.
Place a Checkmark in the Checkbox next to the item labeled “Always Show All Icons and Notifications on the Taskbar”.

6.
Click the [OK] Button to save your changes.
