Hello Everyone,
Do you frequently find yourself flagrantly frustrated trying to correctly spell a word while you are on the go and, consequently, not near your trusty dictionary or beloved computer?
Well, my would be spell-master, your days of Anglo-Saxon alphabetic aggravation are over.Â
Now you can have a steady, reliable and, more importantly, free spellchecker by your side, on your mobile phone.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Make sure that you have an unlimited data plan from your wireless provider before using this service.
From your mobile browser or standard PC, go to:
http://www.spellcheck.net
Â
The following instructions are for Mobile Speak Smart Phone users, only:
After opening the online spell-check site:
1.
In Mobile Speak for Smart Phone version 2.0 or later, switch to the Default Keyboard Layout (Home-Key + 5). While this is not necessary it is strongly recommended.
2.
Select the edit field immediately following the text that reads, “Enter a single word to spell checkâ€.
3.
Enter the word you wish to spell check.
4.
Press your mobile phone’s Down-Arrow key until you land on the button labeled “Check Wordâ€.
5.
Press your phone’s [Enter] key. Please allow from five to twenty seconds for the phone to access the site’s database. The site will display your original word and inform you if the word is, or is not correctly spelled. If the word is misspelled, a list of suggested spellings will be displayed.
6.
Press your phone’s Down-Arrow key to scroll through the list of suggested words. Please note that MSS users may have the word spelled, letter by letter, if, after immediately landing on a word, they press the MSS spell command located in the Default Keyboard layout. (Home-Key + 7). When the spelling mode is engaged, MSS users will hear the word “space†spoken at the beginning of each word.)
Enjoy,
Mark
