Dearest,

You are more than welcome for this little token of my effection.

You know, so often during the course of a day, week, month, year, etc, one can forget her value in life.  As one deals with the day-to-day trials and tribulations of both work and family, it is so easy to forget that she is someone special and, as such, touches the lives of so many in very extraordinary and wonderful ways. 

Sweetie, to this very day, you are among the very, very few in my life who has always made me feel unique and appreciated; it is a very rare gift that I will always hold close to my heart.

So then, perhaps you will understand when I say to you that I have more to thank you for than you, me.

Honey, never forget that, on your worst day, you are more warm, kind, caring, genuine, and gracious than most people are, on their best.
You must never allow anyone or anything to rob you of this knowledge.

Sugar, believe in yourself and there will always be those who believe in you, just as I.

Even though I do not say it often enough, I value your friendship a great deal.

My late grandmother used to say to me when I was a little boy, “Mark, treat good people in your life like gold, treasure them always.”

My friend, you are a very good, good person.  (Smile)
