Hello Everyone,
Take a look at a wonderful, free, text messaging/web service that allows you to quickly and easily take notes on your mobile phone or wireless device via SMS and save them on the web and/or in an email.
In essence, it allows you to “text it before you forget itâ€.Â
If you’re a person who ventures out under the daystar with any frequency, it’s likely that you find yourself trying to remember things you need to do when you get home. Mail your tax return. Pick up the dry cleaning next door. Find a restaurant to take your parents to next week. Do a price comparison on HDTVs. Sure, you could make a note on a pad of paper, but who carries one of those around all the time? If you have your cell phone handy, you can make use of a relatively new service called kwiry (pronounced like “query”) that will take text messages you send to it and create a list of items online or in e-mail for you to take care of later.
Kwiry was originally launched last December as just a way for people to remember things throughout the course of the day, but the service has added a number of features since then.
In order to make the most of kwiry, you must first sign up for a free account on its website. After associating a mobile phone number, from which you will send text messages, and an e-mail address, you’re set to start using the service.
When you send a text message to “kwiry” (59479), it will automatically be added to your kwiry list, online. If you wish, you can use whatever language you want, and whatever you type will be saved into the list.Â
One new feature added today allows users to use specific keywords in order to categorize their “kwirys.” For example, if you type “Task” in front of your message (like “Task walk the dog 8-12”), it will be logged as a task and saved not only into your general kwiry list, but your task list, as well.
To get started, from your standard resolution computer go to:
http://www.kwiry.com
or from your mobile phone or wireless device, go to:
http://m.kwiry.com
While most of the core functionality has been ported over to the mobile (WAP) version, you must go to the main site to use the full set of features.
 Enjoy,
Mark
