Hello My Fellow Appleseeds,

Well, I’ve taken a few steps towards realizing my lifelong dream of becoming an iPhoner!  (Yes!  Yes, that’s a new word that I just coined!!) 

Earlier this evening at approximately 6:00pm PST, I entered my local AT&T Wireless corporate store and placed my order for a 32GB Black iPhone 3G S. 

The process was relatively painless except for when I offered up my poor, overwhelmed, underappreciated, and most definitely beleaguered credit card to the store manager (I only deal with store managers). 

To my astonishment, I learned that my two year contract is up and, as a result, I qualify for the $299.00 price level. 

While in the store, I decided to begin preparing for the arrival of the newest member of Team Taylor.  So, to my own amazement, I purchased the following items:

1. Apple Care Protection Plan.
2. iPhone Car Charger.
3. iPhone 2-in-1 Charger and Backup Battery.

Before exiting the store, I was told the following:
1.
I will receive an email confirmation when my iPhone has been reserved.
2.
I will receive an email when my iPhone is shipped to my local AT&T Wireless corporate retail store.
3.
I will receive an email and a telephone call when my iPhone arrives at the store and is ready for pickup.

Upon opening my email client, about 2 hours ago, I was delighted to find the email confirming the reservation of my iPhone waiting for me.

Yeah!  It’s happening; I’m getting ready.
