Hello Everyone,

As I did not obtain explicit permission to post the following comments from the writer though it was posted to a public mailing list, I will not disclose the author’s name.

Please know that the author is, if not the most, then one of the most respected names in the field of assistive technology for the visually impaired and, further, has earned my heartfelt respect and admiration:

So, to all of us iPhone 3G S early adopters and to all of you Apple “fan-boys” out there, here is a clear, concise, beautifully written, and definitely to-be-considered “gravity-check” regarding the practical application of the iPhone 3G S for the blind and low vision:  Read the rest of this entry »

ORIGINAL MESSAGE FROM TOM:

Hello Mark,

You will catch some flack for moving over to the dark side I am sure.

However in time you may find yourself doing what I do.  I pray on my knees each night that I will never have to be without my iPhone.  I am not kidding – it actually is that great.
Regards, Tom

Hello My Light Hearted Lessees,

Why buy when you can rent? That’s the question you should be asking yourself before handing over that credit card for a new D-SLR, or wondering whether you’re ready to buy a house.

Renting is always a good option because it lets you try before you buy. You don’t have to worry about late fees when renting DVDs, or getting to the bookstore before it closes for that textbook you need for class. In addition, renting lets you use an item for just the weekend, and even gives you access to items that may not be available elsewhere.

Hello Everyone,

Hello My Dear Disbelievers,

Just a quick note to inform you all that, in preparation for the purchase of my new iPhone 3G S, I just signed up for an Apple Mobile Me account.  I’m still a little shaky; I feel as though the world has turned upside down but, believe it or not, on I go.  (Smile)    Read the rest of this entry »

Hello My Friends,

The following is a list of personal codes of conduct, by which to live, that are commonly referred to as the Native American Code of Ethics.

These principles are simple yet powerful, demanding yet gracious, timely and yet timeless.

I post them here as a token of my respect for the past, my appreciation of the present, and my hope for the future.

Most Sincerely,

Mark
