Hello Family,
Today is yet another day I have been a two-battery Epix owner. All I can say is yea!!!!!
I’d forgotten how nice it is to not worry about running low on juice especially after running heavy tests on the phone all day. Don’t get me wrong, I never ran completely out of power but, I use my phone so much that the possibility was never far from my mind.Â
Now, with my Desktop charger and the second battery, all I have to do is lock and load.Â
It almost makes me long for the days of the first old-school Motorola monstrosities when having a second battery was truly not a luxury but a necessity.Â
It really is a shame that stand-alone Desktop battery chargers are so difficult to find; at least, they are for me.Â
Now, if I could only locate a Y-cable …
Ah, but one thing at a time.
With Liberty and Power for All,
Mark
QUESTION:
As a low vision person, how do you know which way you’re traveling in terms of north, south, east, and west? This may be a personal subject so I apologize if it offends you.
Thank you,
Karen
ANSWER:
This is a very good question, Karen, and I assure you I am not offended. In fact, I wish more people would make such inquiries.  Read the rest of this entry »

Hello Everyone,Â
A friend of mine sent the following safety tips to me and I want you to read them and take them very seriously. This is not a joke or a pun. Unfortunately, this is real life, precious life that we all must protect at any cost. So print them out or Braille them up and study them; learn them well and from time-to-time, read them again and again. Make them part of your ethos (world view) and never forget.Â
Pass this information on to everyone you know and pray that no one will ever need to use them.
Remember, a candle is not dimmed by lighting another candle.
Most Sincerely,
Mark Taylor Read the rest of this entry »
Hello My Fellow Tiptoe Bandits,
As all of us do from time-to-time, I find myself frequently answering the question of where I would most like to visit. My usual answer, which is true by the way, is that I someday want to travel up to Alaska and gaze upon the Aurora Borealis (The Northern Lights).
But there’s more; so very much more.Â
For one thing, even though I desperately long to go to this place, I am equally desperately afraid of it; ironic, no?
So, you want to know where it is? Read the rest of this entry »

Hello My Stress-Strapped Social Siblings,
In case you didn’t know, for many years now, I have been plagued with insomnia. Yep, it’s true.Â
So, you’re not alone if, like me, you find that from time-to-time, you simply cannot turn your mind off and either relax or, preferably, fall asleep.Â
As are many things in my life, I find that the severity and frequency of this malody can be greatly reduced by employing one of the most marvelous inventions the world has ever known; that’s right, you guessed it, my beloved Smartphone. (Smile) Read the rest of this entry »
