Hello Everyone,
One very convenient way to implement “push technology†is to make use of SMS (short messaging service), also known as text messaging, alerts. If you choose to receive notifications via SMS, they will be sent to your wireless device. That is, instead of you having to go out onto the web to gather information, which can take precious time, the information you seek is sent directly to your mobile phone. INTRODUCTION
Over the past few months, many Mobile Speak for Smart Phone customers have discovered that the factory installed IM (instant messaging) client on their Windows Mobile Smart Phone is not comfortably accessible with MSS. In this article, therefore, I will discuss two mobile friendly web based instant messaging clients that, in my opinion, work marvelously well with this popular mobile screen reader for Smart Phones. While I compose this piece with the needs of the visually impaired in mind, sighted Smart Phone users will find this information useful, as well. Follow these general steps to move Mobile Speak for Smart Phone from the phone’s onboard memory to an auxiliary storage card that is inserted into the exact same phone:
1.
Uninstall MSS from the Smart Phone.
2.
In the Programs Files folder of the phone, delete the Code Factory folder.
3.
Power off the phone, wait 20 seconds, then power it on.

Wireless Phones | Comments Off on How and When to Imbed Hyperlinks into an Email Message | May 29th, 2008
Hello Everyone,Â
I received a question asking me how to imbed a web page address, as a hyperlink, into an email message.
WHEN:
Sometimes, it is preferable to imbed a web address into an email message as a hyperlink rather than typing the web address directly into the message because doing so may cause the email recipient to receive a broken link. For example, if the web address is too long, the email recipient may receive the address split between two lines rather than appearing on a single one. Should this happen, clicking the URL will not launch the intended page, thus, the URL is considered broken.Â
By imbedding a web page address into the email as a hyperlink, you only need to instruct the email recipient to click specific text in order to launch the site. Read the rest of this entry »

Hello Everyone,Â

INTRODUCTION:
If you are anything like me, you see your Windows Mobile Smart Phone as an all-in-one data center and communications portal. That is, not only do you want your welterweight wireless wizard to reliably connect you to the internet, allow you to create and organize documents, remind you of upcoming appointments, oh yeah and let you make telephone calls but you also want it to be your private dynamic digital DJ and soft-spoken and sensitive story teller.Â
While no one, in his right mind that is, will question the unprecedented success of the iPod, iTunes, and the iPhone, for some of us old-timers, the thought of slowly succumbing to the sweet sound of the siren’s song and, thereafter, forever swimming in the sweltering yet boorishly chic sea of Apple cider is simply too sickening to swallow. We feel this way not because we are silly, stupid, or stubborn; it is only that we acknowledge and appreciate the beauty, the majesty, and dare I say it, the magic of Windows Media Player Mobile for Smart Phones.Â
I am going to share some of this mobile media magic with you. So, sit back, grab a glass of red Koolade (You thought I was going to say wine, didn’t you?), and be prepared to be dazzled.  Read the rest of this entry »
