Hello Everyone,

As I frequently get sinusitis, I am delighted to share the following Everyday Health article with you that is most informative.

Mark

Cold & Flu Center

Though sinusitis simply means your sinuses are infected or inflamed, the term gives little indication of the misery and pain this condition can cause. Health experts estimate that 37 million Americans are affected by sinusitis every year. Here are 11 ways to know whether you’re one of them:   Read the rest of this entry »

From Health Day News

‘Tis the season for a runny nose, cough, sore throat and other symptoms of the common cold.

You shouldn’t treat a cold — always caused by a virus — with antibiotics, since these medicines are meant to treat bacterial infections. But there are things you can do to feel better while the cold runs its course.

The University of Virginia Health System offers these suggestions:  Read the rest of this entry »

QUESTION:

Hi Mark.

I installed News Break late last night as instructed i.e. putting the cab file on the storage card and then installing!  I will put in my unlock code which I have later on today.  However when I started the application, it asked me what news feeds I wanted.  I only wanted the BBC news but found that I couldn’t uncheck the other ones.  Is there anything I’m doing wrong?  Also, if I want to add podcast feeds, how would I do it please?

Hope to hear from you soon and many thanks.  Read the rest of this entry »

Hello Everyone,

I hope you enjoy this approximately 27 minute podcast in which I discuss the 44th president-elect of the United States of America, Mr. Barack Obama.  In this edition, you will hear my personal theme song, as well.

Enjoy,

Mark

My Friend:

It is 3:37am and I am oh so very tired; that is why I am going to enumerate this reply to your voicemail message, OK?

1.
I received your text messages, in addition to your voicemail, earlier today but I was in the middle of posting a new article to my BLOG.  Take a look at it, you may find it useful.

2.
Let me say that my plans have not changed.  In fact, despite the way I feel about your atrocious behavior, it never occurred to me to not accompany you to your appointment, as I promised.  When I give my word, I keep it.  You should know me better than that by now.

3.
I am no longer angry just disgusted and very disappointed in you and your judgment, or lack there of.  Read the rest of this entry »

Dear X:

This will be my only reply to this thread, where you are concerned, for I will not get into a flaming email exchange with you or anyone else, for that matter.

It seems to me that no matter what I contribute, you find a way to put a negative spin on my efforts.   Read the rest of this entry »

Hello Everyone,

Many, many people have asked me if there is a reliable Windows Mobile pod catcher that is compatible with Code Factory’s Mobile Speak software for the blind and low vision.

After searching high and low, in and out, up and down, back and forth, left and right, over and under, hither and yonder, I finally discovered such an application.  Read the rest of this entry »

Hello Everyone,

This is to retract a compatibility conclusion I made between the Samsung Epix SGH-i907 Smartphone and Code Factory’s Mobile Speak software, for the blind and low vision.  Read the rest of this entry »

Hello Everyone,

Today’s little tale is the tale of a Taylor-man who purchased the new Samsung Epix SGH-i907 Smartphone who, upon arriving back at home after the once-in-a-lifetime experience, discovered that unlike his first true love, the Samsung Blackjack II, which was able to obtain a full cellular signal from within his home office, the very posh and very hot and very sleek and very shiny and very slim and very heavy and very cool and very groovy Epix, at best, was able to barely inch into the slow lane of the cellular freeway with 1-bar of signal strength; and even then only at the right time of day with the perfect temperature and held at just the right pitch while being pointed at the Southern Lights, kind-of but not really but sort-of, maybe, sometimes.  (I wonder if this is the longest sentence I’ve ever written?  I’ll have to think about that.)

Oh Dear!  What to do?  Hmmmm!   Read the rest of this entry »
