Question:
Does anyone know how to delete some of the pre-installed ringtones? I have 40+ ringtones on there that sound absolutely rediculous and I would not want them, at this point.
Answer:
In order to remove from or add system sound files to your mobile 6.x device:
NOTE 1:
My following answer is based on the Samsung Blackjack II with WM6.0/WM6.1 Standard Edition and the new Samsung Epix (Blackjack 3) with WM6.1 Professional Edition in conjunction with Windows XP Pro SP2. Most likely, the same or similar file structure would apply on many WM 6.x devices.
NOTE 2:
Depending upon your system setup, some of the following steps may not be necessary.

Well, as difficult as it is for me to believe, in its infinite wisdom, either Samsung or AT&T Wireless, or perhaps both, decided to lock the Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 Registry on the new Samsung Epix SGH-i907 Smartphone.Â
